Yesterday morning we met up at the Bluff Trail out at Montana De Oro, for our first Running Grrrl run!!! It was a blast! Everyone did awesome. It was absolutely beautiful out. Perfectly clear and a little chilly. We had a total of thirteen girls show up! Pretty good for our first run! Everyone was super excited and ready. We did a totally of 4.2 miles. (We told them it would only be 3 miles... ooops.) Everyone did so good despite the fact that we added some extra mileage on there. Good job girls!!! Seriously that was the best! We couldn't have asked for a better first run! It was perfect! There was a lot of encouragement and love out there. A lot of cheering each other on. It was so much fun!
We are sooo proud of all of you and we can't wait to watch you grow in this process. If we keep this up we'll be running a full marathon together in no time!!!
